Agriculture

Indian universities offer a 4-year professional undergraduate degree in agriculture to 10+2 students, preferably in the science stream. Entering the course is primarily determined by an entrance exam. A few entrance tests that are held for course admission include KEAM and EAMCET. In India, there are four general Central Universities with agriculture faculties, five Deemed Universities (DUs), forty-two State Agricultural Universities (SAUs), and one Central Agricultural University (CAU). These universities admit students in eleven different disciplines at the undergraduate level, and each year, roughly 15,000 new students enroll. Although students are not particularly fond of the subject, there is a great need for qualified agricultural experts.
